Happy Friday and happy November!
I love the start of a NEW week, a NEW month or a NEW year! How about you? As Gretchen Rubin says, the calendar can be a catalyst. She even created a Calendar of Catalysts (link here if you’re interested).
I thought I’d blog about my goals for November. That will keep me accountable, right!?! I always try to challenge myself in a few different areas such as physical, spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional, financial, etc. So, here are my 3 November challenges:
Physical: Walk 11k steps daily
Intellectual: Read at least 6 books this month
Emotional: Do the Action For Happiness Challenge: New Ways November
Just this morning, I learned about the Action For Happiness site from Deb’s World blog. I thought this would be awesome, because as you know, I LOVE trying NEW things! Here’s their November Calendar. I’ll report back at the end of the month on how I did!

I’d better go and start getting some steps in! Take care and have a lovely day. I hope you get to learn or do something NEW today!
Let me know what books you read – I’d love to hear about them. Good luck with your November challenge!

Changing the calendar each month always feels like a fresh start to me. I really like your calendar and goals. I love to read and am curious what you will be reading. I hope you share some with us. I just finished reading Dead Wake, about the passenger ship Lusitania that was sunk by a U-boat in WW1. Have a great day!

I would give this book 5 out of 5 stars. The author has the words and stories of a lot of the people that were on the ship, U-boats, ports, etc. I really felt like I was right there. And fascinating history about what the US President was doing and going through at that time. I highly recommend the book.

Your goals for November seem practical and helpful. I love that November 1st’s goals are to do new things. Perfect for you! I am interested in whether you find a couple of simple, effective things on this calendar that reallly work for you, that you could add to your toolbox to use in the future. Have a great month!
