I don’t recall anyone ever telling me “Oh, why don’t you go play on the freeway!?!” :o)…but that’s what we did last week. The highway patrol closed off the I-90 bridge in Seattle and we sat on camp chairs and enjoyed the air show. It was very cool!

I think I’ve been on the I-90 freeway…. Seattle traffic (I wasn’t even driving) scares me! 😉 What a show over such a beautiful place.

Oh this brings back such great memories! I grew up by a naval air station and every year they would put on a fabulous air show with either the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds as the star attraction. We would sit on the stone wall in our backyard and watch them fly above us…sometimes so low we could see the pilots. The noise was deafening…and the memories are still crystal clear of those afternoons. Great shots. FYI…and I would pull over on the highway too if I saw this 🙂
