Happy Monday!
Don’t you love how I always share my very random, or very abstract, or sometimes just plain weird photos on Miscellaneous Monday? Well, here’s a photo I took on my phone while we were at the Piano Guys concert in Seattle in July. They had a video-feed on a big-screen behind the performers and I snapped this just as they faded from one guy to the other. Nice timing eh?
Anyway…here’s some other randomness:
I learned something NEW from my sister recently. She took a trip to Taiwan and China and she arranged to camp on the Great Wall while she was there! I didn’t know you could do such a thing! Did any of you? Have any of you done that? Very cool!
Also, I must confess I haven’t taken the time to read War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, BUT I highly recommend the audio dramatization of that book done by the BBC. I listened to it as I drove around in my car the last couple of weeks. I got the CDs from the library and I have to say, it is very frustrating when you invest many hours of listening and then there are major scratches on CD #9 out of 10!!! BBC did a good job on that project. Right after I finished, I attended a Josh Groban concert and he mentioned he would be making his Broadway debut in a musical adapted from that book. HERE is an article in the NY Daily News about it. So that was kind of serendipitously random.
And, let’s see….no other randomness comes to mind, so I’ll just say: Have a great day! Do or learn something NEW!
Simply adore The Piano Guys!) Magicians with musical instruments instead of magic sticks))
