The NEW image above, taken recently in Amsterdam is my entry for Dan’s Thursday Doors challenge. The image below is for Cee’s CWWC challenge. As I was trying to capture the storm on the mountain this week, I was a bit perturbed with the ski lift right smack in my way, but I guess it works for this challenge. There’s always a bright side to everything eh?!

Yes, I believe this was the entrance to a gift shop. We were rushing (somewhere) and didn’t go inside.

Great photos! I love the door photo of Van Gogh – it really seems like he’s looking in at us. In the second one, the ski lift is a good contrast against the stormy mountain. 🙂

I was to the Beyond Van Gogh exhibit this summer. It was fab! Nice door shot! I think the Gondola in the foreground on the second photo works to enhance the storm in the distance. Well done!
