Happy Wednesday! These lovely snapdragons followed me home from a weekend wedding, so here’s this week’s NEW photo and haiku to remember the occasion.

Hi Lenore, I’m intrigued by haikus, is there a technique to write them? I wanted to share a page of one of my favorite Romanian photographers, Andrei Baciu, he has a collection called “Winterly Haiku”. It’s basically visual haiku. I thought you might like that. http://www.andreibaciu.ro/Winterly-Haiku/

Here’s a link to a post I wrote right after discovering haikus…it explains a bit of what I learned about writing them; https://explorenewness.wordpress.com/2013/05/29/learning-a-new-poetry-style-haiku/
Now I”M intrigued with visual haikus after seeing Andrei Baciu’s site. I’m sure a visual haiku should be a minimalist, every-day type of scene – but I’ve got to do some research. Thanks for introducing me to something NEW! Take care.

Thanks so much… I just tried my hand with my first haiku. I have trouble with focusing and synthesizing my ideas and write them down, so I think this will be a great exercise for me 🙂 I’ll share it on my blog in a few, let me know what you think 🙂
