Happy Saturday!

Today I’m playing along with The Culture Club as well as Saturday Classics and posting a classical piece that makes me smile. I posted this video a few years back (here), but this particular rendition still makes me smile. You have got to watch at least the first minute of this video, but toward the end is even better.  Oh, the passion! I love it so much. Too bad the conductor had his back to the Pope and all the nuns and bishops…because…well, you’ll see 🙂…they missed out!

Happy Friday!

This foto might only be funny to me, because of my initial reaction. I was walking past a building on the university campus where I work, and out of the corner of my eye I see this. I don’t remember what I thought it was, but I definitely did not think it was only a lab coat and a green Kermit hat hanging on a coat rack!

Sorry for the reflection, I took this from outside. Have you ever had something strike your funny bone before you realized what it really was…an every day item?

Miscellaneous Monday…NEW stuff i gotta share

Happy Monday!  So here is a miscellaneous seagull, drinking from a glass in some miscellaneous outdoor café in Monterey, CA.  Gulls are treated pretty good in Monterey, right?!?

OK, here’s more stuff:  My daughter-in-law says she’s obsessed with the local Waffle Love waffles, so eventually, I want to try making this copycat recipe from Purple Chocolate Home {HERE }…and while I’m at it, I’ll try these Maple Bacon Yeast Waffles.  YUM!

Happy Tuesday!  I recently read a story of a gas station in Kentucky that has amazingly clean restrooms.  It turns out, they simply have a sign above their mirror that says: “Please pretend this is your own bathroom and that your mother is coming for a visit.  Thank you.”  {Ha! Genius!}  So, I thought I’d post this sign in my boys bathroom to see if cleanliness improves!  :o)  I just told them to use their imaginations!  I’ll return and report…wish me luck!

Happy Wednesday!  If you recall, a few months back, I posted the above (here).  Well, just Sunday, my new daughter-in-law pointed out another DUMB thing I did and that reminded me of yet ANOTHER dumb thing I did.  SO, I’m starting a collection! :o)

You’ll notice this is a NON-ALCOHOLIC collection of the ‘I don’t always’ meme, because I don’t drink and don’t want to promote drinking. :o)
