a NEW photo challenge entry

Happy Wednesday!

This photo is my entry for “The Space Between” prompt for the Monochrome Madness photo challenge.

The space between allows for a pixelated view of the powerful waterfall, but the distorted perception stops me from having a complete experience and divides me from fulfillment.

However, I appreciate these challenges for the kick in the pants to review my files for appropriate images to use. How about you? I haven’t been out shooting much lately (I’m basically a lame, fair-weather photographer, and it’s COLD outside!). I hope you have a terrific day and get to do or learn something NEW today!

a NEW Monochrome Madness entry

Happy Tuesday! When I saw this week’s Monochrome Madness theme, I knew I’d have to post this photo of this lonely road we recently traveled on. It was a hazy morning…you can barely see the mountain in the background. Just to the left of this road was this scene:

Thanks to Dawn at The Day After for hosting Monochrome Madness this week!

Have a terrific day. I hope you get to learn or do something NEW today!

a few NEW photo challenge entries

Happy Tuesday!

When I saw Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge topic today of “Sticks and Stones”, I knew I should have an image or two from our recent trip to enter. I remembered snapping quite a few “tree art” photos.

As we hiked to a waterfall on our trip, we passed by a burn area and I snapped another “tree art” photo that I thought would work well for Leanne’s Monochrome Madness photo challenge.

And lastly, here is my son having a stone skipping contest while we were visiting Grand Teton National Park. I’m pretty sure this is Jackson Lake. So, obviously, this image is for Cee’s “Sticks and Stones” challenge also.

Have a great day! I hope you do or learn something NEW!
