Happy Wednesday!  If you recall, a few months back, I posted the above (here).  Well, just Sunday, my new daughter-in-law pointed out another DUMB thing I did and that reminded me of yet ANOTHER dumb thing I did.  SO, I’m starting a collection! :o)

You’ll notice this is a NON-ALCOHOLIC collection of the ‘I don’t always’ meme, because I don’t drink and don’t want to promote drinking. :o)

Hi all!  Happy Tuesday!  When I took this photo of this window on our vacation, I specifically thought about the  ‘A Lingering Look at Windows’ link up….but then it took a while to sift through the vacation photos!  This is at a very public spot….can anyone recognize this window?  Ok, ok…a hint:  It’s in the state of Oregon.  Anyone? Reflection.  Such a good thing! This bridge was just outside our hotel room in Portland, Oregon last week.  I hope this photo will remind me to stop and reflect more often.

Also…I’ve been very excited lately to learn some close friends and family are expecting babies soon.  I LOVE children!  They are such a blessing!…and I whole-heartedly agreed with this video’s message:

Happy Saturday!  You know, I believe these are the only black/white photos I’ve ever posted!  I really love B/W photography, but I’ve never seemed to get the right images for it.  However, these photos from a foggy beach in Northern California seemed to work out ok since they were pretty colorless  photos to begin with.  Lots and lots of fog that day!

a NEW favorite strawberry lemonade recipe…cuz it’s soooo EASY!

Check out how easy this yummy strawberry lemonade recipe is!  We recently had guests over for a BBQ and I made this…and everyone loved it!

Place the following in blender and blend until smooth:

1/2 lb strawberries (1 1/2 cups), trimmed and halved, and

1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice (from about 5 lemons)

After liquefied, add:

1 to 1 1/2 cups sugar and 3 cups cold water

Serve over ice!  EASY!!!  But yummy!  It’s my NEW favorite!  Have a great day! Do or learn something NEW!

 

playing on the freeway…a NEW experience

I don’t recall anyone ever telling me “Oh, why don’t you go play on the freeway!?!” :o)…but that’s what we did last week.  The highway patrol closed off the I-90 bridge in Seattle and we sat on camp chairs and enjoyed the air show.  It was very cool!
