It was such a cloudy day…but the clouds had variety! All these photos were taken within minutes of each other…just at different directions! I had a NEW view anywhere I gazed! Happy Friday! Do or learn something NEW!

a NEW recipe…Basil Butter
I’m loving my indoor herb garden! {see previous post with details HERE} Today I tried a NEW recipe and used up some of my basil that I’ve been growing. YUMMY! I got the recipe from Paint Chips and Frosting (that’s a fun blog name, huh?!?).
Now I’m on the hunt for more great fresh herb recipes…the only catch is, my garden is kind of small at the moment, so the recipes can’t call for more than a cup or so of basil, parsley or cilantro, and only a tiny bit of chives…but I have PLENTY of dill! Does anyone have any fabulous dill recipes???
Have a great day! Do or learn something NEW!
Miscellaneous Monday…NEW random stuff i gotta share
Happy Monday! I just got home from yoga and thought I’d hurry and post a few miscellaneous items before heading off to work. So…along with this random waterwheel photo from my archives, I thought I’d share a good app that my son recommended. He’s a bodybuilder type and we recently asked him about some specific exercises we should be doing. He said, ‘Just download Body Space app’…which I did. They have an exercise database which I really like! No more getting bored of the same ol’ exercises for different body parts. You all know I love NEW stuff!
Also, here’s a good video clip. I’m fascinated with accelerated learning:

a NEW realization: It’s Pi Day (3.14) AND Pi Month!
{source}
I always knew March 14th was Pi Day, but why didn’t I realize (until recently) that the entire month of March this year is PI MONTH!!!!??!!!
I just might eat Pi for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert on Friday, the 14th, but also try NEW pi recipes throughout the month! Here’s some of my inspiration (let’s hope the time to try all these will magically appear somehow! :o)

a NEW {printable} St. Patricks Day badge
Check out this NEW badge I’ll be wearing to work next Monday! I made up these little St Paddy’s Day badges and printed the B/W below onto green cardstock. I’ll be telling my co-workers “I DARE YOU!” or “BRING IT…!” :o) {Feel free to print one out for yourself!}
Have a Happy St Patrick’s Day next week!

a NEW cupcake topping
I LOVE having ingredients in my pantry…ready to use without having to run to the grocery store!!! I made these cupcakes for a party tonight and sprinkled these Andes Mint chips on top. EASY! {and YUMMY!} I think I originally bought them to try with one of these cookies:
a NEW voice I’m enchanted by
I had never heard of Alfie Boe before a couple of weeks ago…but now I actively search for YouTube clips just so I can listen to his awesome voice! Having something NEW in my life doesn’t always have to be something extraordinary..it can be just something as simple as finding a favorite NEW singer. Happy Monday! Do or Learn or FIND something NEW to enjoy!
a few days away….with NEW experiences
Well, I’m back! My hubby and I took a couple of days and got away for our anniversary.
I REALLY enjoyed our get-away because we did a nice variety of things! Let’s see…we started out with one of our favorite things to do together….we played racquetball (physical), we attended the temple (spiritual), went out to lunch and dinner (ummm, probably another physical, but could be emotional or social?), we toured an exhibit at a museum of the Dead Sea Scrolls (educational), we stayed at a romantic bed and breakfast (emotional?), took a long walk/hike up a canyon trail (physical), went to a NEW theater and saw a funny parody of Phantom of the Opera (social?….or physical because our bellies ached from laughing?)….to name a few of our NEW, fun experiences.
But we’re back to our daily routines now. It’s always good to get away, but just as nice to come home again! Happy Friday! Do or Learn something NEW!!!
